As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carl may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Quist and Helen Quist; and his great grandchild Alexis. He is survived by: his wife Diane; and his children, Erik (Carolin), Kirstin (Kurt), Kyle (Mary) and Peter. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great grandson.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elm Creek Ward (8539 2200 W, West Jordan, UT 84088). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers Dave requested donations be made to Huntsman Cancer Center, Primary Children's Hospital or the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake.
