He was predeceased by : his father John F. Mathis; and his sister Judy Mathis Anderson. He is survived by : his mother Ruth J. Mathis; his wife Peggy Jean Millgate; his children, Brenda Crook (Mike) of Thornville, OH, Michael Mathis (Clinton) and Shirlee Kirkman (Lonny); and his sister Elizabeth Birt. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his mother.
