It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Arlene Tanner Lowell in West Valley City, Utah, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hyrum Tanner and Mildred Arlene Allen; her siblings, Robin Edward Tanner and Terrie Lee Rutherford; her brother-in-law Ted Ellis McDaniel; and her stepsister Diana Hoganson.
She is survived by: her husband John Wilson Lowell; her siblings, Elvin Lynn Tanner (Dotty) and Nea Jean McDaniel; her sister-in-law Maureen Tanner; and her stepbrother Alled Bates (Lori). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery (6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84084). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
