He was predeceased by : his parent Kamilla Louise Olsen Hendriksen; his wife Dorothy Kennard; his siblings, Elisabeth Gardiner, Anna Brown, Elsie Arpke, Nora Beall, Mary Schultz, Martin Hendriksen, Joseph Hendriksen and Kathryn McCashland; and his great grandchildren, Samuel Peter Hendriksen, Lincoln Joseph Hendriksen and Jennifer Dastrup.

He is survived by : his children, Leslie Anderson (Sherman), Michael (Ruth), Daniel (Karen), Neil (Marie), Eric (Elaine), Mark (Judy), Elinor Sargent (John) and Laurel Palmer; and his brother John Herbert Hendriksen. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 89 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Granger Ward Meeting House (2850 W 3835 S, West Valley City, UT 84119).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a modest contribution in memory of Oscar J Hendriksen to the Eccles Organ Festival.
