Dorothy Adele Phillips Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Adele Phillips (Abingdon, Virginia), who passed away on March 9, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Fullman and Irma Bloodgood Fullman; her husband Edgar Phillips Jr.; and her grandson Jacob Phillips. She is survived by : her children, Thomas Phillips (Jama), Robert Phillips (Margaret), Castro Valley and Gail Moore (Timothy) of Abingdon; and her grandchildren, Hawk Berry, Will Berry, D. C., Satcha Carter, Knoxville, Tenn, Jenny Phillips (Mario DeBernardo), Carmichael, Eliza Phillips, Paonia, Moti Phillips, Oakland and Preston Moore (Megan Sharp). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Interment will take place at Monmouth Memorial Park in Tinton Falls, N.J. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Holt, Marion Hunter, Gene Groseclose, and Rev. Robert Tolar, Jr. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Ecumenical Faith-In-Action Food Pantry, Abingdon, Va. in Mrs. Phillips' name.
