It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Roop Calderon of Abingdon, Virginia, who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, J. C. Roop (Cicero) and Janice Spencer Roop; her siblings, Carl Denny, Howard Roop and Wilma R. Testerman; and her nephew Tony Testerman.

She is survived by : her nephew Mike Testerman (Barbara) of Hillsville; and her great-nephew Don Denny of Wilmington, NC..

No services will be held at this time due to Covid restrictions.
