She is survived by : her husband Bill Dixon; her children, Alesia Woodard and Will Dixon, Jr.; her siblings, Millie Russell and Jim Herzig of Massachusetts; and her grandchildren, Jason Wingler, Alyssa Wingler, Awbrie Combs and Brawley Combs.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, 5505 LBJ Highway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.
