With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ambassador Lino Gutierrez of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Miriam Messina; his daughters, Alicia (James), Diana (Jim) and Susie; and his grandchildren, Nico, Isa of Silvia, JJ, Luca and Hugo.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jefferson Funeral Chapel (5755 Castlewellan Dr, Alexandria, VA 22315).
