It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hettie Tisdale Beachum of Alexandria, Virginia, born in Nottoway, Virginia, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Owen Tisdale, Sr. and Annie Moses Tisdale; and her siblings, Renison W. Tisdale, Fred Tisdale, Jr., Margaret Tisdale Dykes and Lucille Tisdale. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
