In the vast expanse of eternity, Claudy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Claudy farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his mother Helen. He is survived by: his close friend Vivia R. Montgomery of Lynchburg; his daughter Cynthia K. Woodall (Jason) of Rockbridge Baths; his grandchildren, Brooke Hall, Chris, Kayleigh Manley, Keri Manley and Jaxxon Woodall; and his brothers, Arthur Maupin of Charlottesville and David Douglas, Jr. of Lynchburg. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Altavista Moose Lodge 1433 (3463 Lynch Mill Rd, Altavista, VA 24517).
