With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dottie Robertston Wood of Altavista, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dottie Robertston may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dottie Robertston touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Edward Robertson and Jennie Katie Irby Keatts; and her brother Pete Robertson. She is survived by: her children, Eddie Wood and Stephanie Wood; her grandchildren, Ashelyn Wood and Brayden Mahan (John Edd Wood); and her siblings, Annie Wade and Raymond Robertson. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
