He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Burnette and Bertha Burnette. He is survived by : his children, Dwayne Burnette (Cynthia) of Lynchburg, Kim Witt (Greg) of Evington, Kassaundra Carey (John) of Evington and Shannell Burnette of Evington; and his siblings, Rita Caldwell of Huddleston and Rucker Burnette of Lynch Station. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.
