He was predeceased by: his parents, Ebenezer Gaston Tennant and Lucille Lester Tennant. He is survived by: his wife Bess Vansant Tennant; his children, Shannon Tennant and Chad Tennant (Christina Tennant); his sister Betty Edwards; and his grandchildren, Sydney, Kylee, Shelby and Braeden. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's memory to the National Center for Healthy Veterans or the Lynchburg Area Veterans Council.
