We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2024, at the age of 62, Gwendolyn Gunter Parr of Amherst, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Percy; her father-in-law James Parr; and her brother-in-law Robbie Morris. She is survived by : her mother Judy "Mammee" Duff Gunter; her husband Greg Parr; her son Kendall (Beth); her grandchildren, Layne, Grayson and Lacey; her daughter Brittani (Lane); her grandchild Daylon; her siblings, Mike Gunter (Kelley) and Penelope McAllister (Duane); her sister-in-law Susan Bailey (Steve); her nieces and nephews, Elaine, Betsy (Rob), Caroline, Mary Kate, Morgan, Maggie, Caleb, Heath (Holly) and Seth (Haley); and her mother-in-law Mary Sale Parr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Gwen Parr to Central Baptist Church, 103 Central Church Ln., Lowesville, Va., 22922 and/or Oronoco Church of the Brethren, 7242 Lexington Turnpike, Vesuvius, Va., 24483.
