She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Anderson and Milam Wallen; her husband William Flanary; her daughters, Jewell Lewis and Betty Barnett; and her grandchildren, Jamie Flanary and Libby Cortle.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Pennington, Deloris Morris, Margaret Gardner (Kirby), Lola Varner (Eddie), Johnny Flanary (Sandy) and Ken Flanary; and her siblings, Ida Kirby of Clintwood and Buddy Wallen of Kingsport. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Apostolic Church, Appalachia, VA.
