She is survived by: her husband Dr. James Blackwell of Haymarket, VA; her siblings, Anna Nugent (Bryan) of Natchitoches, LA, Angela LeBlanc (Wayne) of Galliano, LA and Julian Lafont Jr. (Kathy) of Galliano, LA; her children, Joshua Blackwell (Lydia) of Midland, VA, Jonathan Blackwell (Kirsten Cappel) of Fairfax, VA and Elizabeth Baldridge (Richard) of Warrenton, VA.; and her grandchildren, Emerson, Hunter Blackwell, Richard III (Trey) and Genevieve Baldridge.
The family suggests donations to Battlefield Baptist Church designated for Children's Ministry, Upwards Basketball Program, or Women's Ministries.
