She was predeceased by : her husband Jerome A. Gast; and her son Robert Gast. She is survived by : her daughters, Ilene Gast (Raymond Colangelo) of Vienna, VA and Diahn Goldberg (Mark) of Potomac Falls, VA; her grandson Jared Goldberg; and her brother Fred Gillespie (Elaine) of Rockville, MD.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
