She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Tolliver and Kate Henderson Tolliver; her husband Vaughn Kilby Spencer; and her grandson Scott Pierce. She is survived by: her children, Mark Spencer (Nippi Mclauglin) and Rene Pierce; her grandchildren, Katlyn Spencer and Shawn Spencer; her stepgrandchildren, Brianna Ritter and Kat Ritter; her sister Margaret Heath; and her sister-in-law Kate Chandler.
