He is survived by: his children, Angie Crigger (Scott), Laura Houser and Bobby Houser; his grandchildren, Kourtni Houser, Bailey Houser and Ava Houser; and his great grandchildren, Kason Houser, Kennedi Houser and Kora Houser.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coulson Church (4127 Coulson Church Rd, Woodlawn, VA 24381). A memorial service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Coulson Cemetery (4127 Coulson Church Rd, Hillsville, VA 24343).
