He was predeceased by: his parents, Davey Gauldin and Ruby Gilbert Gauldin; and his siblings, Louise Morris, Jessie Wetzel and Floyd Gauldin.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Cassada Gauldin; his daughter Kimberly Viers (Jerry); and his siblings, Jadie Carter, Virgie Barbour (James), Delma Lawrence (James), Georgia Smith, Jim Gauldin (Louise), Alfred Gauldin (Nancy) and Ray Gauldin (Susan). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
