He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Thompson, Sr. and Irene Helen Shelton Thompson; and his brother William "Buddy" Thompson, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Samantha Joyce Thompson Taylor (Brian), Tamatha Thomas (Robert) and Reba Dawn Thompson (Danny); his brothers, Donald Wayne Thompson (Adrian) and James Edward Thompson; his grandchildren, Cody Rainyn Crews (Casey), Hannah Noel Taylor, Angel Dawn Crews, Flip Dillion Crews, Faith Nicole Crews, Ariel Carter and Roberto Thomas; and his great grandchild River Merlin Thompson.
