It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isabel Ownby Fain in Axton, Virginia, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Lonzo Ownby and Beda Ethel Ogle Ownby; and her husband John Douglas "Doug" Fain. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Hawks, Christa Williams (Scott), John Fain II and Steven Fain (Sharon). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
