It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laura Wingfield Buffkin (Axton, Virginia), born in Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Patsy Ashbrook Wingfield and Benjamin Ramey Wingfield. She is survived by: her husband Bud Buffkin; her daughter Carrie Buffkin of Independence Virginia; and her brothers, Mark Wingfield (Jessie Ward) of Leatherwood Virginia and Chris Wingfield (Melissa Wingfield). She is also survived by eight sisters-in-law and spouses; many nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
