He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Shively and Laura Alice Robertson Shively; his brother William Earnest "Pig" Shively, Sr.; and his sibling's children, William Earnest Shively, Jr. and Moleta Spencer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Duel Shively and Louise Spencer (John); his siblings' children, Sherry Thomas, Kathy Dodson, Teddie Shively, Anson Shively, Barry Shively, Danny Spencer and Mark Spencer; and his close friend Roy Lafferty.
