She was predeceased by : her parents, Glenn Lee Layne and Annie Thelma Williams Layne; and her granddaughter Debra Lee Sanford. She is survived by : her daughter Victoria Blankenship; her grandchildren, Anthony Blankenship, Justin Blankenship, Jennifer Blankenship, Patrick Blankenship, Melena Vazquez and Miguel Vazquez; and her great grandchildren, Giovani Xaca, Liliana Vazquez, Rosalina Vazquez and Justin Carlos Blankenship.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30th 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bassett Funeral Service (3665 Fairystone Park Hwy, Bassett, VA 24055). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30th 2023 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
