We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024, at the age of 86, Virginia Amos Hodges of Bassett, Virginia, born in Rocky Mount, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Huey Amos and Cora Simmons Amos; her husband Clyde C. Hodges; her daughters, Judy Hodges and Linda Sue "Lynn" Hodges; and her siblings, Curtis Amos, Rebecca Weeks, Betty Jean Hodges and Jeanette Harrison.

She is survived by : her sons, Henry Hodges and Clyde (Mike Hodges); her grandson Eric Hodges; and her great grandchildren, Cheyenne Hodges and Cassie Turner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bassett Funeral Service (3665 Fairystone Park Hwy, Bassett, VA 24055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at the Roselawn Burial Park (103 Clearview Dr, Martinsville, VA 24112).
