It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Helen Eustance Kern (Bedford, Virginia), born in Ithaca, New York, who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Winfield Eustance and Bernice Keibler Eustance; and her siblings, John W. Eustance and Anne Eustance Russo. She is survived by : her husband William A. Kern, Jr.; her children, Jenny Kern Stern, Emily Kern (Mark Metz) and John Kern (Kim); her grandchildren, Jacob Stern, Daniel Stern, David Stern, Joseph Metz, Madeleine Metz, Katherine Metz, Rebecca Kern, Matthew Kern and Elizabeth Kern; her sister-in-law Nancy Guilford Eustance; and her nieces and nephews, Lynn Eustance, Kerry Eustance Koen, Roger Eustance, Amy Eustance, Andrew Russo (Suganya), Mark Russo and Rick Russo.
