It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Desimone McKinney of Bedford, Virginia, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Americo Desimone and Josephine Caprio Desimone; her parents-in-law, Willie and Alice McKinney; and her brothers-in-law, Willard Wood, Donnie McKinney, Dack McKinney and Buggs Bowyer.

She is survived by : her nephew Ronald Wood; her husband Roy Lee McKinney; her daughters, Joni McKinney Boyd (Jamie) and JoAllison McKinney Ruff (Bubba); her grandchildren, Troy and Bridgette Ruff; her pet Silver Bells; her siblings, Corinne Richards (Tom), Gary Desimone, Donna Ramsey (John) and Johnny Desimone (Trisha); and her siblings-in-law, Gina Wood, Linda Carr, Faye Bowyer, Cheryl Bush (Bob), Wanda Goin (George), Lisa McKinney, Judy McKinney, Jimmy McKinney, David McKinney (Mary) and Biddy McKinney (Debbie).
