With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Marguerite Balsamo of Bedford, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mary Marguerite farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary Marguerite is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Reed and Marguerite Reed; her granddaughter Melissa Balsamo; her children, Marguerite, Christopher and Joseph; and her husband Joseph Balsamo. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mary Catholic Church (1307 Oakwood St, Bedford, VA 24523). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
