He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry "Buzz" Tinsman and Margaret Tinsman of Pine Grove; his son Albert Larry Tinsman, Jr.; and his sister Betty Simpson (Sam). He is survived by : his wife Mary Lou Blanche Tinsman; his sons, Jeff Tinsman of Winchester, VA, Tim Tinsman (Julie) of Winchester, VA and Andy Tinsman (Anne) of Martinsburg, WV; his grandchildren, Danny Tinsman, Jaimi Lineberg, Trae Tinsman, Hannah Tinsman and Madison Tinsman; his great grandchildren, Elijah Tinsman and Caleb Tinsman; and his brother Jack Tinsman of Myrtle Beach, SC..
