He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norman Clifton Heflin, Sr. and Dorothy Ann Brown Heflin; his wife Carolyn Louise Newlin; his son Tony Heflin (Traci) of Kearneysville, WV; his granddaughters, Erica Mackey (Dylan) of Martinsburg, WV and Lindsay Dinges (Ryan) of Charles Town, WV; and his great grandchild Charlotte.
