She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Hubbard and Ruth Hubbard; and her siblings, Janet Payton and William Hubbard. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas William Gaither; her child LaJuan Curry (Kelvin Curry); her grandchildren, Andrea Gaither and Amanda Spain; her great grandchildren, Corey and Camilla Tindal; her siblings, Bertrand Hubbard and Sandra Walker; her close friend Helen Robinson; and her great-aunt Julie Smith.
