We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2021, at the age of 95, Jo West of Birdsnest, Virginia, born in Painter, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jo West to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Leonard Savage and Mattie Berry Savage; her husband Charles E. West; and her siblings, Etta Rice, Mary Tilghman, Margaret Mears and Bill Savage.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Graham (Jeff) of Morehead City and Martha Hennessey (Rod) of Bells Neck, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Carter Magette (Angel) of Birdsnest, Merianne Grigoriciuc (Sorin) of Morehead City, Connor Hennessey of Cheriton and Patrick Hennessey of Washington, DC.; and her great grandchildren, Charlie, Ava, Haley, Alex and Cooper.
