She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Montgomery and Bethel Montgomery; and her husband Emerson Joseph Stilwell (Joe). She is survived by: her son Dan; her daughter-in-law Amy Stilwell of Blacksburg; and her grandchildren, Ellie, Nick and David Stilwell of Asheville.
