Nancy Walker Alexander Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Walker Alexander of Blacksburg, Virginia, born in Springfield, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Murray and Mary Hamilton Goatley Walker of Springfield, Kentucky; and her brother-in-law Charlie King. She is survived by: her husband David; her children, Michael (Martha) of Raleigh, NC, Mary Anne (Scott) of Raleigh, NC and Brian (Ragan) of Floyd County, VA; her grandchildren, Rebekkah, Jessica, Emma and Maxwell; and her siblings, James Murray Walker Jr. of Springfield, KY and Ann King of Bardstown, KY.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church (701 Church St SE, Blacksburg, VA 24060).
