Mavin Sr. of Blackstone, Virginia, born in Crewe, Virginia, who passed away on August 6, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his significant other Beatrice Hawkes Mavin; his children, Delois Mavin Diggs (Wesley) of Newport News and Alfred DeWitt Mavin, Jr.; his grandchildren, Crystal DeShaun Perry of Powder Springs, GA. and Ernest Timothy Perry of Newport News, VA.; his goddaughter Sandra Perry of Chesterfield; and his siblings-in-law, Herman Hawkes, Betty Mavin and Patricia Mavin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
