He is survived by: his mother Mary Daisy Brown Fitzgerald; his wife Shirley Fitzgerald; his children, Sondra, Jaime, Lauren, Jamelle (Melissa), Jermaine and James, Jr. (Shay); his siblings, Mary Louise Worsham (Otis), Virginia Bowden (Lemuel), Patricia Bragg (Benjamin), Robert (Bonita) and Charles (Vicky); his grandchildren, Jamelle, Antonio, LaTrice, Amir, Jaire, Jase, Alonda, Brooklyn, Elijah and A'Riyah; and his siblings-in-law, Bessie, Clementine (Wallace), Moses (Shirley), Richard and Melvin (Cheryl). He is also survived by nieces (devoted Joyce Fitzgerald); nephews, cousins, and many friends.
