He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Moncure Gravatt, Jr. and Mercedes King Mayo; his sister Mercedes Gravatt Grandin of Dover, MA.; his nephew Carter Randolph Gravatt (Windley); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sutton and Sophie; his sibling's children, John Wilie Gravatt, Sarah Gravatt Briggs (Bill) and Dr. Edward Wilson Grandin (Kathleen); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isla and Catherine; his niece Mercedes Mayo Grandin (Erik Mitchell); and his great-niece Faye. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Blackstone or to NAMI Virginia (http://www.namivirginia.org) Arrangements are by the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home.
