He is survived by: his wife Lucille Gilliam; his granddaughter Jessica Sloan Carter; his great grandchildren, Zoey Carter and Jackson Carter; and his siblings, Elic Gilliam of Weezer, Idaho and Ina Belle Little of Deming. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
