With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Banister Lee Pruitt of Blairs, Virginia, who passed away on February 28, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lee Pruitt and Annie Pruitt; his wife Alma Rose Pierce Pruitt; and his siblings, Mac Pruitt, Jesse Pruitt, Roy Lee "Pete" Pruitt, Jeff Pruitt, Viola Pruitt, Sadie Shelton, Virginia Pruitt, Frances Rowland and Mary Pierce.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Riddle (Stephen) of Chatham and Joyce Dawson (Riley) of Gretna; his sister Betty Combs of Danville; his granddaughter Joyce Renee Pickrel (Timothy) of Blairs; and his great grandchild Ashlee Hermanns (Ian) of Blairs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
