She was predeceased by : her parents, Hubert Baker and Juanita Wiley Baker; her husband Walter McArthur Johnson (Mack); her son Mike; her sister Helen; and her pet Baxter.

She is survived by : her daughter Teresa Andrews (Dave) of Bland, VA; her grandson Brandon Belcher (Morgan) of Culloden, WV; her stepgrandchildren, Tessa Andrews of Bastian, Brittany Linkous (Richard) of Bluefield, WV and Corey Andrews (Dakota) of Rocky Gap; her brothers-in-law, Jack Johnson (Brenda) of Alabama and Melvin Gunter of Ohio; and her cousin Shirley Pauley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In remembrance of Dorothy's life, the family asks that donations be made to College Avenue Baptist Church with designation to Women on Missions, (which she so gladly served) 1908 Jefferson Street, Bluefield, WV 24701.
