It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cachita Myers of Bowling Green, Virginia, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cachita Myers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Foxx and Pearl Ruth Foxx (Smith); her siblings, Roy, James, Moses, Melvin, Clarence, Robert, Willie, Richard, Alfred Foxx, Julia Hudson, Beatrice Gray, Pearl Fenwick, Dorothy Matthews, Alice Baylor, Ethel Foxx and Brenda Johnson; and her close friend Mattie Gordon.
She is survived by: her significant other James Murray; her children, Breta Myers (Roger Abrams), Dimitri Myers (Angie), Lavon Foxx (Quintina), Craig Myers (Tiesha) and Corey Myers (LaTinya); her grandchildren, Leslie, Ebony, LaVondra, De'Angelo, Dimitri, Craig, Brandon, Khaliah, Brandy, Ja'Corey, A'aliyah, Devon, Aniya and Corianna; her sister Ruth Deyo; and her close friends, Yolanda "Meaty" Gray and Deborah Alexander. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren-in-love; 17 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Caroline County Community Center (17202 Richmond Turnpike, Milford, VA 22514).
