It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lee Carter (Brandy Station, Virginia), who passed away on December 8, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Lacy and Essie Lacy; her husband Marshall Carter Jr.; her son Marshall Carter III; and her daughter-in-law Janet Carter.

She is survived by: her brothers, Robert Lacy (Carol) and Fred Lacy (Mildred); her grandson Brian C. Carter (Monica) of Brandy Station, VA; and her niece Margarite Thomas (Charles) of Takoma Park, MD. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
