She was predeceased by: her children, Conley Barker, Junior, Hunter Thomas "Tom" Petty, Sr. and Michael Wayne Petty; her grandson Hunter Thomas "Tom" Petty, Jr.; and her siblings, Andrew Brookman, Ammit Brookman, Lawrence Brookman, Benjamin Brookman, Irene Turner, Amy Lee Dunkum, Virgie Snow, Minnie Wyant and Inez Halterman.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel Leake Winston of Bremo Bluff; her daughter Kay Petty Noble Carter of Arvonia; her grandchildren, Michael Brandon Noble (Elita) of Colonial Heights, Patrick Edwin Noble of Arvonia and Wendy Petty Luckado (Roger) of Esmont; her great grandchildren, Taylor Petty, Hunter Petty (Angie), Wayne Luckado and Jesse Luckado; and her stepchildren, Raymond Winston (Kim) and Julia Smith. She is also survived by step-grandchildren; Trenton Winston and Mazie Smith Netherwood; and a number of loving nieces, nephews.
