She was predeceased by : her parents, Reverend Leroy W. Coffey and Clara Odell Coffey; her siblings, Marie, William, Robert and James Coffey; her husband Will "Eddie" Worthington; and her daughters, Danita Patton-Gudger and Tammy Patton.

She is survived by : her siblings, Ralph Coffey, Paul Coffey of Bristol, TN and Margaret Simpson West of Atlanta, GA.; her son Darrin Patton; her grandchildren, Darrin Jr., Jerrod, Danielle and Jessica Patton-Parks; her friends, Millie Saunders, Eunita Peyton, Penny Walker, Stella Goodman and Joyce Wright; and also Robert Kariuki. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the John Wesley United Methodist Church (311 Lee St, Bristol, VA 24201). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens (19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210).
