It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnie Elwood Dove Sr. (Broadway, Virginia), who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Dove and Rosie Violet Carr Dove; and his sister Faye Anderson (Charlotte Cullers). He is survived by: his children, Donnie E. Dove Jr. (Alana Beal) of Matthews, NC and Teresa Tutwiler (Paul) of Mt. Solon; his grandchildren, Heather May (Bobbi), Samantha Flynn and Josh Dove; his great grandchildren, Cohen and Zoey May; his stepgreat-grandchild Nic May; his brother Matthew Dove (Phyllis) of New Market; and his close friend Maxine Shipe of Bridgewater Home.
