It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clarence Hiram Jones Jr. of Brookneal, Virginia, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife JoAnn George Jones; his parents, Clarence H. Jones, Sr. and Evelyn Smith Jones; his son-in-law Mark N. Francis; and his sister Doris J. Austin.

He is survived by : his children, C. H. Jones, III and Leigh Ann Jones Francis of Brookneal; his grandsons, Conner J. Francis of Brookneal and Colby N. Francis (Lindsey) of Concord; and his great grandchild Rhett L. Francis.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Brookneal Baptist Church (304 Wickliffe Rd, Brookneal, VA 24528).

Memorial contributions may be made to the Brookneal Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. Box 590, Brookneal, VA 24528 or the Staunton River Masonic Lodge for the Carleigh Shae Singleton Memorial Education Fund, P. O. Box 155, Brookneal, VA 24528.
