With solemn reverence, we commemorate Paul Angelo Carreras Jr. of Bumpass, Virginia, whose life came to an end on October 1, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Angelo Sr. and Carey Sue Carreras (Patteson); and his siblings, Mary Anne Wood, Joan C. Guglielmetti and Robert Henry Carreras.
He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Powell Carreras; and his children, Angelo Carreras (Jamie), Carmen Trimble (Donald), Loretta McCray (Glen), Juanita Wilson (Mark), Christopher Carreras and Gabriel Carreras (Kimberlee). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bliley's Funeral Home (8510 Staples Mill Rd, Richmond, VA 23228). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Saint Benedict Catholic Church (300 N Sheppard St, Richmond, VA 23221). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1400 S Randolph St, Richmond, VA 23220).
