He is survived by: his children, Carol "Corkie" Matson of Elk Grove, CA, Michael (Tammy) of Fairfax, VA, Sandra (Eric Walker) of Sacramento, CA and Gary of Dale City, VA.; his siblings, Leslie of Louisville, KY, Betty Anne Springfield (Tony) of Louisville, KY and Mary-Etta Madison of San Diego, CA; and his former wife Julia Buford Talbott of Bowie, MD.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild.
