It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug Brown of Burke, Virginia, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on November 25, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cassandra Brown; his daughter Melissa Brown; his son-in-law Christopher Whatley; his granddaughters, Samantha and Charlotte Whatley; his son Christopher Brown; his daughter-in-law Jessica Barba Brown; his grandchildren, Mei-Kim and Josephine Brown; his siblings, Robert Brown, Bruce Brown and Diana Padavich; his parents, Robert Brown and Nancy Brown; and his son Tay Raid.
In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Lt. Col. Douglas Brown and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
